JOSE MOURINHO has not spoken to Manchester United about potentially replacing Louis van Gaal, according to his agent.

Jose Mourinho's agent speaks out over Manchester United speculation since Chelsea axe
Will Jose Mourinho's next job be at Old Trafford?

Van Gaal is reportedly set to quit United if they fail to beat Chelsea this evening (5.30pm).
And Mourinho, who was sacked by Chelsea earlier this month, is the leading contender for Van Gaal's job should the Dutchman leave Old Trafford.

But Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes insists his client hasn't not talked to any club and is currently on holiday in South America.
"Right now he’s in Brazil, we'll see what happens when he gets back," Mendes told Sky Sport.
"At the moment we haven't been talking about England, Spain or Italy.

"He only needs to be calm and not worry about anything - he's the best manager in the world."
Real Madrid are also thought to be interested in bringing Mourinho back to the Bernabeu despite his acrimonious exit in 2013.
But with Van Gaal's situation at United looking perilous, there could be a vacancy sooner rather than later.
