Grand Theft Auto: GTA 6 release date, map and lead female character leaked?



GTA 6 could be released in 2018

RUMOURS are circulating in the gaming world that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released in 2018.

 

It is also claimed that the game could feature its first female lead character, with Eva Mendes reportedly being lined up for the role.

Additionally, GTA 6 apparently looks set to include a gigantic map which will see all the previous games joined together in the shape of the USA.

Whether the rumours are true remains to be seen, but Rockstar Co-Founder Dan House has already admitted that a lead female character could be a possibility.

He said: “In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course, we just haven’t found the right game for it yet, but it’s one of the things we always think about.”

Ryan Gosling has been touted as a possible male character alongside real-life partner Mendes, while some have speculated the new game could allow players to teleport across the new map.

Rockstar are yet to comment on the rumours, but lead developer Leslie Benzies  previously confirmed that his team will first be working on a map before adding in story lines and missions.
