GAMING news this week includes Fallout 4’s latest beta patch, a mystery Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 hotfix and some stunning Grand Theft Auto 6 claims.
Bethesda have released a second beta patch for Fallout 4, but only on PC.
Although well received by fans and reviewers alike, the game has been plagued by a number of bugs and glitches.
PC users have already been treated to a beta update, but can now download a second one via Steam.
However, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users face a wait for theirs, with Bethesda looking for PC feedback before creating a console patch.
A new hotfix has gone live on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 – the only problem is that nobody seems to know what it relates to.
Studio design director David Vonderhaar tweeted a cryptic message on Wednesday, saying: “37.1*.21.4 – Patches exploits that ruin other people’s fun. Don’t be that guy. Nobody likes that guy.”
He was soon inundated with replies from fans, with many puzzled by the tweet.
But it is generally agreed that the hotfix will put an end to players farming Cryptokeys in Gun Game.
Rumours claim that Eva Mendes is in line to play Grand Theft Auto’s first ever lead female character.
GTA 6 will apparently be released in 2018, and looks certain to be Rockstar’s most ambitious venture to date.
The game is said to have a map formed by all of the previous GTA games shaped into the USA.
It is also believed that Ryan Gosling could take the part of the game’s lead male character, potentially casting him opposite his real-life partner Mendes.
