Euro 2016 draw: England face Wales with Republic of Ireland handed tough group
Euro 2016 will see four home nations head to France in pursuit of glory next summer
ENGLAND will face Gareth Bale's Wales at Euro 2016 on June 16 in Lens next summer.
 
Chris Coleman's side will start their first major tournament campaign since 1958 against Slovakia, before taking on their English rivals, who start off against Russia.
Should Roy Hodgson's side win the group, they will play one of the third placed teams in the last 16.
If England finish second in the group, they will face the runners up in Group F, featuring Hungary, Iceland, Portugal and Austria.
 
Northern Ireland have been drawn in a tough Group C, facing world champions Germany, Robert Lewandowski's Poland, and Ukraine.
Martin O'Neill's Republic of Ireland will have to contest the 'Group of Death', taking on Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Sweden, world number 1 side Belgium, and Italy.
Hosts France, automatically drawn into Group A, will contest the opening game of the tournament against Romania, before games against Albania and Switzerland.
