DESTINY servers will be unavailable later today as the game undergoes maintenance.
The epic space-shooter from Bungie will stop players from logging in after 5pm before the servers are shut down completely an hour later at 6pm.
However, the good news for Destiny fans is that it should be back online by 9pm, meaning that evening plans won’t be completely ruined.
The four-hour break also indicates that Bungie are ready to unleash some exciting new changes to the Destiny universe.
The company have already revealed that there are plans for a major update which could completely revolutionise the way most users experience the game.
Weapons are set to undergo radical changes in order to get players trying a variety of firearms and not just pulse rifles.
There will also be access to two new Exotics, with eight originals set to return with updated stats.
On top of that, Bungie will also be making an addition to latest expansion ‘The Taken King’, which has been well received by Destiny fans.
In order to give players a fresh challenge, new Raid ‘King’s Fall’ will now come with different difficulty modes, making for an exciting December.
