RADAMEL FALCAO is preparing to return to Monaco in January, according to reports.
The striker moved to Stamford Bridge on loan in the summer following a disappointing spell at Manchester United.
However, he hasn't faired much better in the capital either, scoring just once in 11 appearances for Chelsea.
And according to French newspaper L'Equipe, the Blues are considering pulling the plug on his contract, sending him back to his parent club early.
It's understood the Colombian is open to the idea in an attempt to find regular first-team football after his career has seemingly stalled since moving to the Premier League.
