NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you the latest news and gossip coming out of Stamford Bridge.
Saido Berahino’s long-term future at West Brom appears to be in doubt after he turned out for the Under-21 side on Monday.
Berahino tried to force through a move to Tottenham in the summer, but a deal fell through.
Chelsea are now tracking the 22-year-old too, who chose to play for the Baggies’ Under-21 team at his own request.
Berahino has been left on the bench by Tony Pulis for West Brom’s last three games.
Chelsea have postponed negotiations with Juventus over Juan Cuadrado until February, according to reports.
The 27-year-old has been on loan at the Bianconeri since the summer.
Cuardrado was expected to seal a permanent move to Turin next month, but Italian paper Gazzetta dello Sport claim talks will be pushed back until after the window closes.
Chelsea and Juve are already thought to have verbally agreed a £15.8million fee for the winger.
Jose Mourinho claims he has the backing of Roman Abramovich.
Mourinho’s men suffered their eighth league defeat of the campaign against Bournemouth on Saturday.
Though there have been constant questions about Mourinho’s future, the Portuguese tactician claims he has the continued support of owner Abramovich.
“I know the wind of the results is an important wind; I know that this wind is strong because results in the Premier League are really bad,” Mourinho said.
"But I think the owner knows what I am, the owner knows what I give to this club, and the owner believes that I am the right person to do the job."
