Guus Hiddink, who has replaced Jose Mourinho as boss until the end of the season, has set his sights on a January move for Liverpool striker Christian Benteke.
That is according to the Sunday People, who claim the Dutchman has identified a lack of goals as a major problem at Stamford Bridge.
Benteke joined Liverpool in the summer from Aston Villa for £32.5million but has struggled to break into the first-team due to an injury-hit start to the season.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have confirmed manager Pep Guardiola will leave the club at the end of the season and replaced with Carlo Ancelotti.
The news is likely to spark a Premier League tug of war, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City all reportedly interested in the former Barcelona man.
"We are grateful for everything that Pep has given us and we're hoping to celebrate many successes before the end of this season," Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.
"With Ancelotti, once again a very good coach joins Bayern Munich. We look forward to working with him."

The Mexico international has bagged 19 goals in all competitions this term after joining the Bundesliga side for just £7.3m.
And according to Don Balon, Chelsea are ready to battle rivals Arsenal for the 27-year-old's signature when the transfer window reopens in January.
