Chelsea are planning a £60million double deal for strikers Alex Teixeira and Jamie Vardy, according to reports.

Express Sport understands Shakhtar Donetsk ace Alex Teixeira has verbally agreed a move to Stamford Bridge in a deal worth £30m.

And The Telegraph claim the Blues have also approached Leicester for man of the moment Jamie Vardy, also valued at £30m.

 

Cesc Fabregas has quashed claims he was an unsettling influence at Chelsea by insisting he had an 'exceptionally good relationship' with former boss Jose Mourinho.

"I can reiterate that I had an exceptionally good relationship with Jose Mourinho as I will aim to have with any coach that I play for," he posted on Instagram.

"The football club is more important than any one player. We have all let the manager and club down this year as a collective unit."

 

Kurt Zouma could join Lazio on loan in the January transfer window, according to reports in Italy.
