And The Telegraph claim the Blues have also approached Leicester for man of the moment Jamie Vardy, also valued at £30m.
Cesc Fabregas has quashed claims he was an unsettling influence at Chelsea by insisting he had an 'exceptionally good relationship' with former boss Jose Mourinho.
