BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER has given a glowing appraisal of his life at Manchester United, describing it as a “perfect experience”.
The German midfielder has been serving a three match suspension for an off the ball incident against West Ham but is set to return for Monday night’s clash with Chelsea.
The 31-year-old’s performances have been mixed since his arrival from Bayern Munich in the summer.
And United are in poor run of form after failing to win any of their last seven matches, leaving Louis van Gaal fighting for his job.
But despite the negativity, Schweinsteiger is delighted with life at Old Trafford.
He told www.dfb.de: "Manchester is just a perfect experience that has enriched my professional life tremendously.
"Bayern Munich, the Germany national team and Manchester United - these are my three teams. Had someone told me that 16 years ago I would have taken it!
"I like Manchester. There are many nice people here, good restaurants. I feel good."
