ARSENE WENGER believes Alexis Sanchez has a chance of playing against Sunderland in the FA Cup next weekend.

Arsene Wenger provides injury update on Alexis, Flamini, Arteta and Rosicky
Alexis has not played for Arsenal since November

The Chilean has missed all of Arsenal's December fixtures after suffering a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury in November.
After their win over Manchester City on Dec 21, Wenger confirmed Sanchez would be out until at least January 10.

But ahead of Saturday's clash with Newcastle, Wenger said the 27-year-old could be in contention to play the Black Cats on January 9.
He said: "Alexis will be too short for Newcastle. He [could] be back for Sunderland."

Wenger confirmed Mathieu Flamini may return against Steve McClaren's men and gave an update on club captain Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky.
"Arteta is back in training but is too short [of match fitness] to be selected in a competitive game," he said.
"He [Rosicky] is three weeks away [from training] now."
