Arsenal Player Ratings: Shambles as Mertesacker and Koscielny are embarrassed by Long
Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny in action with Southampton's Shane Long

Bellerín - Rarely got forward and part of an Arsenal defence which struggled badly today - 5
Mertesacker - Sloppy in possession and rattled by Shane Long and Sadio Mane's pace - 4
Koscielny - Not his best match, like Mertesacker he was disrupted by the Southampton forward's speed - 4
Monreal - Arguably had Arsenal's best chance in the first half but a poor first touch scuppered the opportunity - 5

Flamini - Southampton bypassed the Frenchman by looking long, but when he was called into action he was average - 5
Ramsey - Unable to get forward against a well organised defence. Recent run of games appeared to have taken its toll - 5
Campbell - Anonymous performance from the Costa Rican who has impressed in recent weeks - 5
Özil - Was well marshalled by Clasie and Wanyama. His worst match for quite a while in an Arsenal shirt - 5
Walcott - Ineffective and weak. Failed to trouble Southampton's full-backs - 4
Giroud - Did the best with the little service he had. Southampton's centre-backs gave him no space to play - 5
