Arsenal given transfer boost as Napoli agent talks up big club interest
Jorginho signed for Napoli from Verona in 2014
ARSENAL'S search for a midfielder has been given a shot in the arm as Jorginho's agent has talked up the chances of his man moving to London.

The Napoli midfielder has helped his side form the foundations of a formidable title challenge so far this season, featuring at the heart of Maurizio Sarri's midfield.
The 23-year-old has attracted the attentions of Manchester United and Liverpool, as well Arsene Wenger, but his agent Joao Santos has now revealed that Arsenal have been keep a closer eye on the Brazlian-born man than others, having watched the player as recently as November's clash with Genoa.
"I do not know if Arsenal scouts were in Genoa for Jorginho, but I'm not surprised that the player, especially in light of the change of coach, is doing very well and has important clubs interested in him," Santos told Italian station Radio CRC.

"One of the Arsenal head scouts is well-known so I know that he was at the ground during the game."
With Mikel Arteta, Santi Carorla, and Alexis Sanchez all out injured, Arsenal's squad looks dangerously thin, with Wenger forced to move Aaron Ramsey further back in the midfield to cover.
The Arsenal boss acknowledges it is not the Welshman's best position, and if he is looking for a quick fix to his injury woes, may make a move for Jorginho as soon as January.

But while the queue of big clubs for Jorginho may be getting longer, Santos believes his man is fully focused on his football.
"Right now, however, is that I think Jorginho is more interested in Napoli than the transfer market," added Santos.

"If Arsenal are interested in Jorginho, Napoli will tell me.
"The priority is the national team call, then there's the transfer market in January."
