Arsenal eye move for Barcelona youngster as Arsene Wenger plans January recruitment
Alex Grimaldo is being scouted by Arsenal

ARSENAL are considering a January move for Barcelona's Alex Grimaldo.

The 20-year-old B team captain is in demand throughout Europe with the Gunners expected to have to battle to win their man.
According to reports in Portugal Benfica are ready to make their move, while Bayern Munich and Porto are monitoring the situation.
The left-back has represented Spain at under-21 level but is yet to play for the first team at the Nou Camp.

Arsenal currently have Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs at left-back but are said to be considering their options with Gibbs being used further forward off the bench in recent weeks.
Arsenal boast the second meanest defence in the Premier League, having conceded just 13 goals, but may be looking to the future.
Right-back Hector Bellerin signed from Barcelona in 2011 and has become the Gunners first choice this season.
