ALAN CURTIS is prepared to remain in charge of Swansea until the end of the season with the club still searching for a new manager.
Despite talks with several candidates to succeed Garry Monk, including Marcelo Bielsa and Gus Poyet, Swansea appear no closer to naming a new boss over the busy festive period.
Caretaker boss Curtis is set to remain in charge for the Boxing Day fixture against West Brom, as well as the trip to Crystal Palace on Monday, as he looks to lift the Swans out of the relegation zone.
The 61-year-old said a move to appoint former Athletic Bilbao boss Bielsa appeared to have cooled, and that he could remain in charge for longer should results go Swansea's way in the coming days.
"I will carry on for as long as it takes, if it's the weekend or a little bit further we will do what it takes for the club to continue to show the improvement on the field and, perhaps more importantly, pick up points," said Curtis.
