CARETAKER manager Alan Curtis insists not even the threat of relegation will make Swansea turn away from their passing principles.
The Swans sit in the Premier League drop zone ahead of Boxing Day's Liberty Stadium meeting with West Brom after a horrendous run of just one win in 13 fixtures.
Performances have improved since Curtis took interim charge in the wake of Garry Monk's departure but it was not enough to get three points against Manchester City or West Ham.
"We have meetings at the start of the season where the aims and objectives are laid out and it has always been first and foremost, every year, to maintain our style," said Curtis.
"The players would much prefer to carry on playing the way we always have done, and even go down playing our style of football, than do something different."
