RIYAD MAHREZ will not be leaving Leicester in the January transfer window, according to his agent.
Mahrez has been linked with both Arsenal and Manchester United in recent weeks due to his fine form in the first half of the season.
The Algeria international has scored 13 times and has six assist to his name, making him a fundamental reason behind The Foxes spectacular campaign.
However, despite the allure of signing for one of the league's 'top teams', his agent Kamel Bengougam believes he will remain at the King Power in January.
"I don't think Leicester want to sell him and he is focused on doing well with them. I think he will stay in January," he told Sky Sports News.
Meanwhile the 24-year-old has admitted he has no intention of leaving Leicester over the winter, especially considering their incredible start to the 2015/16 campaign.
"I do not think that I am going to leave because I feel very good here, but of course it is sure that there are noises," he said.
"It is good to have clubs that are interested in you, but I feel very good at Leicester and it would be stupid to leave in January, especially because we are in first position."
Mahrez is now valued at £29million, according to reports - a fee that Leicester will be delighted with considering they only paid £400,000 to French side Le Havre in 2014 for his services.
