Agent: Arsenal and Chelsea target set to complete £10m deal
han Calleri is on the brink of joining Inter Milan

ARSENAL and Chelsea have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Boca Juniors striker Jonathan Calleri.

The Premier League pair have both been linked with a move for the 22-year-old after his impressive return of 21 goals for Boca this season.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen to provide support for Olivier Giroud up front, while Blues manager Jose Mourinho is looking for more firepower to turn his season around.

However, his agent has now confirmed that the striker is instead on the verge of joining Inter Milan in a deal worth £10.1million.
"There’s good news about Calleri," representative Angelo Paradiso told Italian outlet Il Sussidiario.
"The purchase is almost done, we’re just lacking the final details. We’re talking about a figure close to €14m (£10.1m)."

And the uncapped Argentine is likely to be sent out on loan to one of Inter's Serie A rivals to ensure he's playing on a regular basis.
"There’s a real possibility that he could be loaned out to another club to gain experience and Bologna is the most likely destination," Paradiso added.
