SHOCKING new statistics have revealed the drug Britons are most likely to seek treatment for, and it's a huge surprise.
It's said Brits most commonly seek treatment for an addiction to opioids - a drug resembling opium in addictive properties or physiological effects.
Opioids are described as substances that act on the nervous system in a similar way to opiates, much like morphine and codeine.
The interactive map has been created using data from the UN's Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
A full report was released with the information about the world's drug habits - much of Europe were in the same bag as Britain with the opioid addiction.
Unfortunately that represents an increase of three million over the previous year.
But, because of the increase in the global population, illicit drug use has in fact remained stable.
Interestingly, the U.S also treats a high percentage of the nation with opioid addiction, but surrounding countries including Mexico and Canada struggle with cannabis over opioids.
HIV - the NHS writes - is a virus which attacks the immune system and weakens your ability to fight infections and disease.
Just two years ago there was an estimated 107,800 people in the UK living with HIV. Worryingly, it's believed 26,100 people in the UK are carrying the virus without knowing.
Worldwide, those figures are raised to 35 million people living with HIV.
A more worrying fact revealed is almost half (12.19 million) of those problem drug users inject drugs, and an estimated 1.65 million of those who inject drugs were living with HIV in 2013.
