WINSTON REID's own goal on his 150th West Ham appearance ensured the points were shared with West Brom at Upton Park.
The Hammers took the lead after 16 minutes through a superb free-kick from Mauro Zarate before Rickie Lambert's deflected second-half shot came off of Reid and into an empty net.
It was the Hammers who started the game the brightest with Diafra Sakho and Zarate wreaking havoc on the Baggies defence.
And this positive start lead to the first goal as Slaven Bilic's side were awarded a free-kick for Gareth McAuley's foul on Sakho.
Zarate stepped up to the mark and delivered with aplomb as he fiercely struck his right-footed effort into the top corner past a helpless Boaz Myhill.
West Ham remained on top but were caught off guard early on in the second half as Lambert lashed an effort towards goal which took a huge deflection off of captain Reid and into the goal.
Bilic's side continued to press for a winner but Tony Pulis' resilient defence stood firm.
This draw sees West Ham rise to 7th in the Premier League table while West Brom remain in 13th.
