ARSENAL and Chelsea could both be slapped with transfer bans similar to the ones faced by Real Madrid and Barcelona, according to reports.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo have called upon FIFA to sanction Real over the alleged improper signing of minors.
Barcelona were found guilty for breaching rules surrounding the transfer of under-18s and faced a transfer ban during both windows in 2015.
The Catalan paper want to see their La Liga rivals hit with a similar sanction, prohibiting them from bringing in any players in 2016, and have written to FIFA.
The football authority has since prepared a statement on the signing of minors, and according to AS Diario, Arsenal and Chelsea could face similar punishments.
It's understood they too are being looked into over the alleged improper signing of players under the age of 18.
Barca appealed their ban with the Court of Arbitration in Sport but were denied – meaning the Premier League clubs, if guilty, could face a transfer-less spell.
