Louis van Gaal is ready to sign two new players, including Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
Manchester United boss Van Gaal yesterday discussed his transfer policy heading towards the January window.
"With Ronaldo, let's wait and hope," Van Gaal said.
"Ronaldo plays on the wings and he is fast and scores goals. There is no trainer in the world that doesn't like him.
"Of course we are looking at all players - not just Ronaldo."
Ronaldo, 30, is unlikely to join the Old Trafford club in the winter but a move after Euro 2016 next summer is a possibility.

The Mail on Sunday say he will be offered a £250,000-a-week contract in Manchester, which signifies a £5,000-a-week pay rise from his current deal at the Bernabeu.
Meanwhile, Van Gaal has also set about securing a new left-back after confirming he needs cover following Luke Shaw's prolonged absence with injury.
"I was convinced that he would have a very good season," Van Gaal said of the England international.
"Shaw was the main player for that position is it was a big blow for us.
"Maybe we have to buy a left-back in January. His rehabilitation is going well, but the process can now be very slow."
One man Van Gaal is reportedly looking at to cover for Shaw is Wolfsburg ace Ricardo Rodriguez, according to the Sunday Mirror.
However, the 23-year-old would cost United at least £30million to sign.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is ready to sell £110m worth of talent in a major squad shake-up at Stamford Bridge.
That is according to the Daily Star Sunday, who claim last season's player of the year Eden Hazard will be offloaded.
Diego Costa, Oscar and Nemanja Matic will all also be flogged before Mourinho moves in for targets Michy Batshuayi, Saido Berahino and Antoine Griezmann, it is claimed.

West Ham ace Manuel Lanzini says he is flattered by Liverpool's interest in signing him.
Speaking before today's 4-1 drubbing at White Hart Lane by Tottenham, Lanzini told ESPN: "I heard the president say that the club wants me to stay. I am fine here.
"It's an absolute honour that a team like Liverpool has put an eye on me, but at moment I am focused on the match against Tottenham."
Lanzini started against Spurs this afternoon but was unable to prevent a rout as Harry Kane bagged two goals alongside strikes from Toby Alderweireld and Kyle Walker, with Lanzini himself netting a late consolation.
