Manchester United have agreed to loan striker James Wilson to Championship high-flyers Brighton for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old has featured just twice for United this season, coming on as a substitute in the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal and starting in the League Cup loss to Middlesbrough.
"We have been keen to add a striker, and James has been our number one target for some time, so we are absolutely delighted to have completed the deal," Chris Hughton said.
Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed Harry Kane will not be leaving Tottenham, despite reports linking him with a move to Chelsea.
"I am happy that a big club want our players - this is because they show they are a top player with top performances," he said.
"It is good when they are linked, but Harry Kane, like Hugo Lloris, wants to stay here. He is one of the best players and he is very happy."

Steven Gerrard has pinpointed Arsenal's transfer targets for January, saying they need a defender and midfield 'powerhouse' to challenge for the title.
This Arsenal team is littered with world class players and good players but they just seem to always fall that tiny bit short," he said
"Until they get that big leader in defence and another powerhouse in midfield, I think they'll continue to come that little bit short."
