Chelsea have reportedly rejected a staggering £35million bid from Porto for under-pressure manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho is fighting to avoid being sacked at Chelsea for the second time in his career after a poor start to the season.

The Blues boss insists he will see out his current contract at Stamford Bridge, which expires in 2019.

And according to the Mail Online, Chelsea have offered a strong show of support for Mourinho by turning down a big-money move for his services.

It is claimed Monaco shareholder Alessandro Proto met Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in London last night in a bid to lure the Portugal boss to France.

It is added that Abramovich could consider letting Mourinho leave for Monaco should the offer be upped to £71m.
