Andre Ayew has quickly adjusted to life in the Premier League |
NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you the latest transfer news.
The Ghanian has scored six goals in 13 Premier League matches since arriving on a free transfer from Marseille in the summer and it has led to speculation regarding a move to Liverpool.
"Before signing for Swansea, there were offers from some big clubs," Ayew told French radio station RMC.
"It was a decision that was really well thought out. I took my time, weighed up the pros and cons, my age, what I wanted to accomplish in football and how I should get there.
"Swansea brought me everything that I wanted, whether on a sporting or a financial level, but I am ambitious so we'll see what happens in the future."
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to Arsenal after failing to get regular minutes at current club Juventus.
Sportitalia claim Sampdoria are very keen on the centre-back and are looking at a loan deal in January.
Reports in Spain say Manchester United will use former boss Sir Alex Ferguson to persuade Cristiano Ronaldo to return to Old Trafford.
United have made no secret of their desire to sign the 30-year-old but his agent Jorge Mendes has said Ronaldo will end his career at Real Madrid.
But Marca claim that with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain also keen, United will have the upper hand by using Ferguson, who brought Ronaldo to England as a teenager.
