Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is interested in taking over at Man United next summer

JOSE MOURINHO is interested in replacing Louis van Gaal as Manchester United boss next summer, according to reports

 

Chelsea and Mourinho have endured a disastrous start to the season losing six of their opening 11 Premier League games as they look to defend their title. 

And the 52-year-old has been at the brunt of the negativity at Stamford Bridge with increasing pressure mounting on his shoulders.

However, he could be able to escape his nightmare at the end of the season as it is suggested that he is very interested in testing himself at Old Trafford, claim Le 10 Sport. 

Mourinho was in the running to take over from Sir Alex Ferguson when he retired in 2013 but decided to return to his former club instead, allowing former Everton boss David Moyes to take the reins. 

The French publication also report that United's owners are not completely convinced by Van Gaal's management methods and could make a move for the former Real Madrid boss.

United host West Brom as they aim to close the gap on title rivals Manchester City and Arsenal.
