PIE FACE is selling faster than hot cakes as Britons struggle to nab a copy of the must-have new board game in time for Christmas.

Fuelled by the popularity of a hilarious viral video which shows a father and son testing the new Hasbo game, Pie Face has quickly gone on to become the must-have game this Christmas.

The hugely popular board game plays like a family-friendly Russian roulette that launches a fresh dollop of whipped cream into players' faces.

Players score a point for each time they manage to turn the handle without getting pie-faced and the first person to reach 25 points wins.

The simple appears to be a winning formula for US toy and board game firm Hasbo.

 

Britons will struggle to get their hands on the board game as UK retailers across the country appear to have run out of stock.

Major high street and online retailers including Argos, Toys 'R Us, Amazon.co.uk, Smyths Toys, John Lewis, Very and Argos will only allow customers to sign-up for stock updates on the item.

Pie Face was named as one of the Top 12 Toys for 2015 at the Dream Toys convention in London, earlier this week.

Also amongst the Top 12 Toys highlighted by the Toy Retailers Association was he Star Wars The Force Awakens Battle Action Millennium Falcon and the Star Wars Bladebuilders Jedi Master Lightsaber.
