Cristiano Ronaldo continues to be linked with a move away from Real Madrid |
The Portuguese star has been consistently linked with a move away from Madrid with former club Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain both duelling for his services.
Yesterday, the 30-year-old scored his 13th goal of the season to help Madrid beat Las Palmas 3-1.
And afterwards, he was non-committal about his future.
"At this moment, I'm happy playing for Real Madrid but I don't know what will happen in my future," Ronaldo told the Efe Agency.
"I must choose the way that makes me happy."
Earlier today, Ronaldo's former team-mate Patrice Evra revealed a deal for United to re-sign the reigning Ballon d'Or holder was '99 per cent' done in 2013.
Referring to a conversion he had with Sir Alex Ferguson, Evra told the Sunday Times: "I remember we talked maybe two weeks before [Ferguson retired] and he said ‘Patrice, I will be here for another five years'.
"I said ‘yes boss, let’s do it.'
"I was so convinced. He was looking younger and younger. He even told me 99 per cent Cristiano Ronaldo will come.
"I was like ‘wow, we are ready to bounce back and to even win the Champions League again.’"
