Manchester City line up £20m January swoop for Arsenal midfield target

Grzegorz Krychowiak is wanted by Manchester City

MANCHESTER CITY have joined the race to sign Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to reports.

 

The Sevilla midfielder was on Arsenal's radar in the summer but Arsene Wenger was unable to push through a deal.

Krychowiak, 25, is a Poland international with 29 caps.

And Spanish newspaper Marca claim City will compete for his signature in January.

 

City beat Sevilla last night to advance into the last 16 of the Champions League with two games to spare.

City could top the group with a win in Turin against Juventus in their next clash.

 

And Manuel Pellegrini appears to be on the look out to bolster his squad even further.

The Chilean signed Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, Patrick Roberts and Nicolas Otamendi in this summer's mega outlay.

And, according to talkSPORT, Krychowiak would cost around £20million.
