MANCHESTER UNITED are looking to make it a double swoop on Southampton by signing Graziano Pelle as well as Sadio Mane.
Mane, 23, is reported to be manager Louis van Gaal's top target after admitting he needs attacking reinforcements.
He is expected to go back for the Senegal international after failing to land him in the summer.
And The Daily Telegraph claim he will not stop at that, with the Dutchman keen to add Saints team-mate Pelle, 30, to his ranks too.
The Italian was Ronald Koeman's first signing as boss at St Mary's, joining the club for £8million from Feyenoord at the start of last season.
He hit 12 Premier League goals in his first campaign in England and has bagged six already this term.
Komean will be keen to keep hold of one his star players after hailing him as one of the best strikers in the league.
"He’s a very complete striker," he said last month.
"He’s not only physically strong, he knows what happens around him, has good technique, is tall but he’s not slow, his co-ordination’s very good.
“He’s clever in the box, has a good header, is a good finisher, and is in my opinion one of the best.”
Juventus are also understood to be keen on taking the Italy international back to his homeland.
