Man Utd News: Mourinho to leave Chelsea, Depay makes vow, 'unselfish' Schneiderlin
Could Jose Mourinho take over from Louis van Gaal

NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you the latest news from Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho will take over as Manchester United manager in 2017 when Louis van Gaal's contract runs out.
The sensational claim comes from Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb, who say the under-fire Chelsea boss has agreed a deal in principle to replace the Dutchman.
Mourinho was linked with the United job when Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013 but opted to return to Stamford Bridge for a second spell in charge.
Memphis Depay is confident he will rediscover his form after a dramatic slump.
The £25million signing from PSV Eindhoven made a bright start to his United career but has lost his place in the starting eleven in recent weeks.

Nevertheless, the winger believes he is still adapting to life in the Premier League and is determined to regain his place.
“It’s of course difficult when you’re on the bench but it’s going better right now and it’s also going better on the training pitch,” Memphis told Dutch website NOS.
“So if I get my chance to play, I will take it.
“I think lots of things changed. I’m in a new club right now, it’s a different level, compared to the Dutch league.
“Such things are playing a big role and you’re trying to find your way and it was a bit easy at the start but then I fell back and you could see it in the way I played.
“But you can assume that I’m busy with working on that and getting back to the top.

“I feel fit and I’m trying to show on the training ground that I’m doing my best to perform well.
“People are used to see me score and that shall also come, it just takes a bit longer now but you’ll have to find that form again.”
Morgan Schneiderlin says he is happy to do the dirty work defensive midfield without the recognition.
The holding midfield role is arguably the most important position in a team but players in that position are rarely winners of major individual awards.
However, Schneiderlin is simply happy to be a team player.
“I’m a team player,” Schneiderlin told Inside United.
“I don’t play for chasing praise from anyone. Of course, you have to play as well as you can but I don’t play to have a good rating in the newspaper or anything like that.
“I just play to win games and give my team the best possibilities.”
