MANCHESTER UNITED flop Bebe has compared his style of play to three-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 25-year-old joined United in the summer of 2010 for £7.4million from Portuguese outfit Vitoria de Guimaraes, but failed to live up to his price-tag.
He was sent out on loan three times to Besiktas, Rio Ave and Pacos de Ferreira before the Red Devils admitted defeat and offloaded him to Benfica for £2m last year.
And Bebe, who has since hit form on loan at La Liga club Rayo Vallecano, believes his style of play is similar to that of United and Real Madrid legend Ronaldo.
The winger also admits his idol was then-Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, who scored 104 Premier League goals for the Blues over two stints.
He said: “Didier Drogba was my idol [at the time], but also Cristiano Ronaldo, because he’s Portuguese. I run the same way, shoot the same way. He’s my favourite."
On the transfer, he added: “The move to United happened very fast. One day I was training and suddenly I was told to go, to sign a five-year contract.
“It was the dream of many children. When I got there I was with the best in the world. I was breathing deep the first week but I got used to it. I absorbed where I was."
