Jurgen Klopp boosted as Daniel Sturridge returns to Liverpool training ahead of Man City
Daniel Sturridge returned to full Liverpool training on Tuesday
Daniel Sturridge has returned to full training for Liverpool as he looks to overcome his injury nightmare and finally turn out for new manager Jurgen Klopp.

The England striker took part in today’s session at Melwood following a knee injury, but he seems unlikely to be considered for Saturday’s trip to Manchester City.
Klopp has previously stated that Sturridge would need up to “10 days” training to recover his fitness before he would be considered for selection for the first team.

James Milner and Jordon Ibe have returned to training after withdrawing from their respective international commitments with England and England U21s respectively and will come into consideration for the game at The Etihad.
The inclusion of Sturridge in the full session will be greeted cautiously given his misfortune over the past 14 months when he has repeatedly suffered injury setbacks and undergone major surgery on a hip injury.

Sturridge has not appeared since Brendan Rodgers last game in charge
He was injured in the build-up to Klopp’s first game in charge against Tottenham five weeks ago when a collision with Ibe in training led to his knee swelling up and fluid settling around the joint.
Yet if he can stay fit, and then buy into Klopp’s methods, then his presence would undeniably bolster Liverpool’s top four ambitions.
Liverpool have the lowest conversion rates of any Premier League this season and have scored 13 goals from 124 shots.
