Man United and Arsenal handed boost as Ronald Koeman rules out £16m midfielder
Ronald Koeman has ruled out a move for Juan Quintero
RONALD KOEMAN has ruled out a move for Porto winger Juan Quintero in the January transfer window.

The Saints had been linked with a £16million move for the 22-year-old who is currently plying his trade in Ligue 1, on loan at Rennes.
The Colombia international had also attracted interest from Manchester United and Arsenal, according to reports earlier in the year.

However, Koeman has since ruled himself out of the running for the midfielder, insisting Southampton don't need to spend over the winter.
When quizzed about the Quintero rumours in today's press conference, he replied: "We don't need midfielders, so no. I'm very happy with the players we have.
"I can't say it's 100 per cent because it's football, but it's unlikely that we'll have new players in January.
"It's an important line in your team, to have good ball possession, and I'm happy with the balance there in our squad.

Ronald Koeman says Southampton don't need to add to their squad
"It's always the most difficult decision, who plays in midfield," he added.
Southampton travel to the north east this saturday (3.00pm) to take on Sunderland, who are currently locked in yet another relegation scrap this season.
