LIVERPOOL will attempt to sign Stoke's Jack Butland at the end of the season, according to reports.
The England international has stepped up to the plate at the Britannia since Asmir Begovic's departure to Chelsea.
And he has become a regular in Roy Hodgson's England squads, winning his third cap in the friendly against France this month.
"I get on with Joe Hart really well. He joined Birmingham on loan when I was there and to see him working day-in, day-out was brilliant," he said.
"I've learnt a great deal off him but, of course, I want to get past him and take the No 1 shirt."
And according to The Sun, the 22-year-old's performances for club and country have not gone unnoticed with Liverpool keen to snap him up.
The report claims Jurgen Klopp wants him as his No1 to succeed Simon Mignolet and will pay in the region of £20million for his services.
It's understood they will move in the summer transfer window rather than rushing a bid in January.
Butland has kept five clean sheets in the Premier League this season.
