Manuel Lanzini has been linked with a move to West Ham
And Jurgen Klopp could make a move to bring Alonso back to England, where he won the FA Cup, the Super Cup and the Champions League during his five seasons with Liverpool
Bleacher Report claim the Reds have been impressed with the strikers performances for West Ham this season, and could make a move for the Argentinian.
Lanzini is currently on a season-long loan at Upton Park from Al Jazira Club in Abu Dhabi, and has scored five goals for Slaven Bilic's side.

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has expressed his frustrations that he and Frank Lampard are still being compared to each other.
The former Liverpool captain is now plying his trade in the USA with LA Galaxy, while Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is also playing Major League Soccer with New York City.
"I was hoping people would finally stop comparing me with Frank after moving here," said Gerrard. "He's a legend and certainly one of those high-end players who will help lift the quality of this league.
"But we've both drawn a line under our England careers so I don't see any reason why we should bring that topic up again. It was always a media thing - we get along just fine."
