Liverpool News: Mass exodus, Sturridge injury boost, £42m Arsenal battle
Daniel Sturridge insists he is "fit and ready to go" following a spell on the sidelines
NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you all the latest news from Anfield.

Liverpool have adapted their policy when it comes to finding the best talent among their youth ranks.
The club have axed around 40 players from their academy in the last 12 months in a bid to improve the standard of quality.
And Alex Inglethorpe, Liverpool's academy director, insists they plan to cut more.
"The changes started last season," Inglethorpe told the Liverpool Echo. "We had around 235/240 before, it’s just under 200 boys now and that figure will head south still.
"The focus here now isn’t on having a specific number in each age group, it’s around wanting a specific level of quality in each age group."

Daniel Sturridge insists he is "fit and ready to go" following a injury-laden few months.
The England international returned to training yesterday but is unlikely to feature against Manchester City on Saturday.
“I’m fit and ready to go and it’s going to be a great time for me,” said Sturridge.
“It’s been great under the new manager. I’ve been back training for the past couple of days and I was training when he first arrived.
“It’s an exciting time to be at the club and I’m enjoying working with him and the style of football.
"It’s important for us to understand what he wants us to do.”

Borussia Dortmund have slapped a £42m price-tag on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Liverpool will have to pay £42million if they want to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to reports.
The Gabon international has been linked with a move to Anfield in January with Arsenal also reportedly interested.
And according to German publication Sport Bild, the Bundesliga outfit would not be willing to let Aubameyang go for less than £42million.
The 26-year-old - who has 14 goals in 12 league games - is contracted at Dortmund until 2020.
