Jamie Vardy is the Premier League's top goalscorer |
JAMIE VARDY has called reports of a move to Real Madrid "all speculation" as he continues his incredible goalscoring streak.
The 28-year-old is the Premier League's top scorer with 12 goals.
And a goal against Newcastle will see Vardy equal Ruud van Nistelrooy's record of scoring in 10 consecutive league matches.
Leicester have reportedly slapped a £15m price tag on Vardy to see off interest from Madrid, Tottenham and Liverpool.
But speaking ahead of England's friendlies with Spain and France, Vardy played down the rumours.
He told Sky Sports News: "It is all speculation, it is as simple as that.
"I am happy with what I am doing at Leicester and long may that continue.
"It has been a brilliant start for myself as well as the team."
