Jurgen Klopp: Liverpool fans made me feel alone with early exits from Palace defeat
Klopp called on the fans not to leave early
JURGEN KLOPP said he felt "pretty alone" after some supporters left Anfield in the immediate aftermath of Scott Dann's late goal which sealed Crystal Palace's latest victory over Liverpool.

to inflict a first defeat on Klopp, who insisted the onus was on his players to ensure the home crowd retains enough belief in his side to remain until the final whistle.
"The goal was on 82 minutes - 12 minutes to go - and I saw many people leaving the stadium," said Klopp. "I felt pretty alone in that moment.
"Between 82 and 94 minutes, you can make eight goals if you want and we have to work for it.

"If you want me to say in the future what I think, then don't make it bigger than I said it. It was 82 minutes. Game over. We have to learn.
"I am not disappointed. There are reasons for it. Maybe it is easier to come out with 10 minutes to play. We are responsible that nobody can leave the stadium a minute before the last whistle because everything can happen.
"That is what we have to show.

Steven Gerrard stayed until the end, but he didn't see his team equalise
"If everyone thinks we gave everything we have tonight then it's wrong. Of course we could do more: maybe not running more, but to be more awake from the beginning and to be clearer and belief more."
Philippe Coutinho had equalised Yannick Bolasie's opening goal, but Palace defender Dann, a former Liverpool season ticket holder, headed home at the second attempt to secure a third successive league win over their opponents.
Manager Alan Pardew has been directly involved in all three of Palace's wins at Anfield, once a player and now twice as a manager, and his side moved into eighth position in the table.

"Our ambition was rewarded in terms of the late goal," he said. "I really enjoy managing this team. It is a really honest team and we have no complications.
"No Europa League, no League Cup, so the league is right at the top of our agenda. That helps us because all the big clubs have Europe to contend with."
