Jose Mourinho downplays row with Diego Costa after Chelsea's win against Maccabi Tel Aviv
Jose Mourinho had a row with Diego Costa before half-time
JOSE MOURINHO insisted that “kisses and cuddles” with Diego Costa at half-time in Israel had patched up the blazing row between the two.

But the Chelsea manager slammed as “dangerous “ the pitch that left skipper John Terry and midfielder Ramires both doubtful for Sunday’s Premier League clash at Tottenham.
Goals from Gary Cahill, Willian, Oscar and Kurt Zouma earned Chelsea the win they needed in Israel last night – but Dynamo Kiev’s unexpected 2-0 at Porto means it will all go down to the final games on December 9, when Chelsea host Mourinho’s old team at home.
Mourinho had a blazing row with Costa just before half-time in Haifa, with the Spaniard raging back at his manager. He appeared for the second half but walked off at the end without shaking his managers hand or saluting the fans.

“Yes we had an argument,” said Mourinho. “I want him to do a certain movement that he didn’t do. I was disappointed that he didn’t and I reacted. He did too.
“But at half-time in the dressing room, a few kisses and a few cuddles. No problem.”
But despite the win, Mourinho was left fuming at a poor pitch which saw Ramires injured training on Monday night – and skipper Terry limp off with an ankle problem in the second half.

He said: “The surface was bad and dangerous. Ramires slid and has a muscular injury. John has an ankle injury I think down to the pitch, and we don’t know how bad yet.
“The result was 1-0 when John left the pitch, so for John to leave the pitch with the score at 1-0, I know already that he’s in trouble.”
And the Chelsea manager added: “This was an important win. But with this group, I need a calculator because I don’t know what will happen. I know if we win we finish first. I know if we lose we go into the Europa League. With a draw, I don’t know. “I prefer to think we have to win our final match and that’s it.”
