LEEDS UNITED thumped Huddersfield Town in the West Yorkshire derby to make it two wins in two for manager Steve Evans.
Leeds took the lead through Mirco Antenucci before Chris Wood made it 2-0 during eight minutes of first-half stoppage time.
The delay was caused by Liam Cooper's substitution 18 minutes into the match.
Defender Cooper collided with a team-mate and was given oxygen on the pitch - but was spotted walking around in the John Smith's Stadium tunnel 10 minutes later.
Alex Mowatt's thunder strike nine minutes into the second half staved off hope of a Huddersfield comeback as former Borussia Dortmund coach David Wagner watched his new team from the stands.
