Gabriel issues rallying cry ahead of Arsenal's crucial European trip to Bayern Munich
Gabriel believes Arsenal can win in Germany against Bayern Munich
ON the face of it, Arsenal's Champions League visit to Bayern Munich this week looks like mission impossible. But not as far as their young defender Gabriel is concerned.

The Brazilian delivered a defiant rallying cry ahead of a game they really need to win to keep their European hopes alive insisting that the Gunners have no intention of firing any blanks in Germany.
Despite Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain joining an alarmingly increasing sick list he believes Arsenal can pull off a great result.
Gabriel was in no mood to surrender - and neither are his teammates - as they face formidable German champions who are soaraway leaders of the Bundesliga with a 10 wins out of 10 record so far this season.
He said: "We’re a big team, we’re Arsenal.

"We need to attack because we need the result. But we need to attack with intelligence and make sure we don’t suffer a defeat and complicate our situation for the rest of our competition.”
Gabriel revealed the Arsenal players had been a bit down after losing their first two Champions League games. But it's a different story now, he claims. Particularly after that stirring 2-0 win over Bayern at The Emirates.
"We feel more confident," he insisted. "We had two defeats and felt a bit down but the group is very strong, so we managed to overcome that and we managed to recover against a great team that will probably fight to win the competition as well.
"With this victory, we managed to get up and running and realise that anything is possible in football, thanks to the confidence and ability of all the players.”

Gabriel said Arsenal got their boost because they were able to impose themselves more, even though Bayern enjoyed more of the possession on the night.
"When we play away we also have to have a slightly different outlook, but that doesn’t mean we’ll spend the whole game defending," he admitted.
"We know the difficulties we’re going to find. Bayern are an excellent team playing at home with the fans on their side, so it will be a big challenge.
"But if we are as determined as we have been over the last few years I believe we can go there and get a great result.
“I think everything is possible in football."
In the meantime Gabriel is hoping to continue his improved form after a stuttering start to life in the Premier League.
"I’m adapting more to English football every day," he added, "My style of game is similar to the English style anyway and I’m growing in every game as I get more more experience.
"I’m helping my team and if the manager chooses me I’ll try do my best to help my teammates get the result we need.”
