ldes has been linked with moves to Liverpool, Newcastle and Besiktas and with the January transfer window approaching, his agent has made clear that the player wants to leave Old Trafford.
And in a post on Instagram, Valdes posted a picture of himself holding a piece of paper in his hand with the words: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

In the caption of the post, Valdes then says he is "fighting to be free".
He wrote: "Not to disappoint those who want to see me play again, the only motivation that pushes me to continue working.
"I struggle to be free and again enjoy my profession."
