| Keisuke Honda has struggled for game time this season |
KEISUKE HONDA has vented his frustration over lack of playing time at AC Milan.
The Japan international joined Milan on a free in 2013, but has struggled for opportunities in the first-team under boss Sinisa Mihajlovic.
Honda has been handed just three Serie A starts this term and is reportedly looking for a way out when the transfer window reopens in January.
Reports in Italy claim Everton and Tottenham are set to go head-to-head to sign the 29-year-old playmaker.
And now the Premier League pair have been boosted in their pursuit after Honda hit out over his situation at the San Siro.

“The situation is not easy,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “To be on the bench for so many matches is something that has never happened [to me before].
“I’m beginning to understand how it feels to be on the outside."
