KEVIN MIRALLAS will not leave Everton this January, insists former Tottenham and Liverpool sporting director Damien Comolli.
Mirallas, 28, has reportedly attracted the attention of a number of French clubs.
The Belgium international has made just nine appearances for Everton all season, of which just three have been starts.
Marseille are known suitors of the former St Etienne and Lille player but Comolli, who had spells in charge of recruitment at White Hart Lane and Anfield during his time in England, says only PSG have the resources to make the move.
"For sure he would be efficient (at Marseille)," Comolli told Le Phoceen.
"He is young and today, at 28, he would return (to France) with more experience and character.
"I honestly do not see who could afford him in France, except for Paris.
"Unless he lowered his salary I do not see how that's possible."
Comolli himself signed Mirallas from Lille when he was sporting director of St Etienne.
He insists Everton are not willing to sell their forward, who cost the Toffees £6million when he switched from Olympiakos in 2012.
And the Frenchman believes even a loan deal is out of the question.
"Everton will never let him go, because if they let him go out on loan, they will have to sign someone else," Comolli said.
