Chelsea close to agreeing deal with Besiktas for international defender
Papy Djilobodji could be set for a loan move to Besiktas
PAPY DJILOBODJI is set for a swift Chelsea exit, according to reports in Turkey.

The Senegal international was drafted in on transfer deadline day from Ligue 1 club Nantes as the Blues desperately looked to bolster their defence.
And Jose Mourinho revealed he played no part in signing the 26-year-old, relying solely on a trusted colleague's advice.

"It was not my choice. It was the choice of someone I trust completely. Which is the same," he said.
"I don't know every player. My job doesn't allow me to travel and spend hours watching players."

However, it seem the gamble hasn't paid off in this instance as the centre-back has struggled to break into the first-team, even with their defensive frailties this season.
And according to Turkish TV outlet Beyaz Futbol, Besiktas have registered an interest in signing the Senegalese in January.

Jose Mourinho admitted he hadn't seen Djilobodji before he signed
The report believes a loan deal is the most likely outcome considering he still has four years to run on his current contract.
Although a permanent move may be appealing to Djilobodji, seeing as he was left out of the Champions League squad and has started only one Capital One Cup game this term.
