Chelsea ace tips England as Euro 2016 favourites despite Spain defeat

Cesc Fabregas thinks England can win Euro 2016

CESC FABREGAS reckons England could go all the way in Euro 2016.

 

Roy Hodgson’s men fell to a 2-0 defeat friendly away to Spain on Friday night.

The Three Lions won all 10 of their Euro 2016 qualifying matches.

 

Fabregas played the full 90 minutes of Spain’s victory and the Chelsea midfielder thinks England have as good as chance as any of Euro 2016 glory.

“I think they will compete very well in the Euros, that is for sure,” Fabregas said as quoted by the Daily Mirror.

“If you ask me now, right now, if they are one of the favourites, I would say yes but of course, they will need to score the chances they create because counter-attacking, they are one of the best sides.

"And when they get chances with Sterling, Kane and Rooney, Lallana, they have good players but they have to take their chances."
