Arsene Wenger has suggested he will do business in January
ARSENE WENGER has hinted that he will do business in the January transfer window following the injury to Francis Coquelin.
 
The France midfielder has been r sustained in the 2-1 defeat to West Brom on Saturday.
The news is yet another blow for Wenger who has a long list of players in the treatment room, including Mikel Arteta, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott.

However, the Frenchman has remained upbeat suggesting he will take the necessary action in the upcoming transfer window.
“I’ll do what’s needed in January even though in January it is not an ideal transfer market," he said.
 
And in the short term, the manager has suggested Calum Chambers could temporarily fill the gap in defensive midfield.
"We have players that can play in [Coquelin’s] position. Chambers has been educated in that position," he added.
Coquelin will undergo a scan today to reveal the full extent of the damage, but there is some good news for the Gunners as Aaron Ramsey has resumed full training.
