JOEL CAMPBELL has declared he has no desire to leave Arsenal.
The 23-year-old played 74 minutes of the 1-1 draw against bitter north London rivals before he was replaced by Kieran Gibbs.
Campbell joined the Gunners in 2011, but spent loan spells at Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiakos.
And after getting a run of games now under his belt at the Emirates, Campbell is convinced his future lies with Arsenal.
When pressed about his future, Campbell told the club’s official website: “No, I’m an Arsenal player and I’m very happy here.
“I’m fighting to achieve my aims and hope to stay here for a long time.”
Campbell also revealed he is doing everything in his power to keep hold of his first-team spot.
He said: “Yes I’m trying to take advantage of my opportunity but I know that what happens next is up to the manager.
“As I’ve said, I’m just focusing on playing and performing as well as possible and the rest is up to him.”
