Has anyone ever actually said no to 007? |
Brace yourselves for the last pulse-pounding preview of Spectre before it hits cinemas later is month.
The clip is chokka with explosions an death-defying stunts, but, ultimately, it all boils down to the hugely-anticipated face off between Craig's 007 and Christof Waltz 's menacing villain.
We STILL don't know if he is actually playing iconic baddie Blofeld, but he's plenty scary enough either way.
"Look around you, James. Everything you believed in are ruins," purrs Waltz.
"Why did you come?"
And then we get a classic exchange of steely-eyed machismo as the two craggy warriors face each other down.
"I came here to kill you," shoots Craig.
"And I thought you came here to die," volleys back Waltz.
"Well, it's all a matter of perspective," smirks our hero.
It's cheesy and a little bit camp and we love it.
Still not quite as cheesy as Sam Smith's Spectre theme tune which hit No.1 today – the first Bond song ever to top the UK charts.
Lea Seydoux in Spectre |
Elsewhere we get another glimpse of Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, the daughter of Bond's old assassin enemy Mr White.
It seems the icy beauty may hold vital clues to help 007 unravel the tangled and wicked web around SPECTRE. When she's not busy kissing him, of course...
We see Bond engaging in fisticuffs in the crowd in Mexico City during the fiesta for the Mexican Day of the Dead.
We see him running and leaping to outpace a falling building.
From the look of him in action, we believe Daniel Craig when he says he isn't ready to stop playing James Bond yet.
Bond hangs on for dear life over Mexico City |
Most thrilling of all, we get another look at that crazy helicopter fight.
After the helicopter executes a jaw0dropping roll in mid-air, we see Bond hanging from the side.
As you do.
Oh yes, we are now officially shaken and stirred.
SPECTRE is out in UK cinemas on October 26.
